McCall Rentals is the founding portfolio in McCall, Idaho — first to assemble, restore, and host this collection of homes on Payette Lake, below Brundage and Tamarack, and along the headwaters of the Salmon. We are an Idaho family, owner-operators, with a small in-house team based in town.
Vacation rentals around here have mostly become a transaction. Faceless platforms, dynamic pricing, an inbox of canned messages. We do the opposite: we curate a tight set of homes, we know each one personally, and when you reach out a human in McCall answers — usually within minutes, not days.
How we host
Curated portfolio
Every home in the McCall Rentals portfolio is one we have walked through, photographed, and prepared. We do not list properties we have not personally vetted. If the home cannot meet our standard for sleep, kitchen, bathrooms, and arrival, we do not bring it on.
Communication is the product
The biggest gap in vacation rentals is the silence between booking and arrival. We have built our company around closing it. A real person responds the same day, every day, in season and out. If something is off during your stay, you call — not an app — and we come.

“We did not start McCall Rentals to manage homes. We started it because hospitality on this lake — our lake — had become a transaction. We want to put it back where it belongs: a craft, done in person, by the family that has lived here.”
