Set on the calm East Side of Payette Lake, the Sanctuary opens straight onto the water. The great room reads as one long pane of glass — morning light off the lake, the Salmon River mountains beyond, and a hearth for the evenings.

The East Side keeps the swimming and paddling of Payette Lake a few steps from the door, while downtown McCall — dinner, coffee, the marina — sits a short drive around the shore.
In winter the lake stills and Brundage and Tamarack are twenty minutes out. Four seasons, one address.
